How is VIDA different from the typical office space for rent in Portland, Oregon?

VIDA is a turnkey coworking space. Individuals, remote workers and businesses can join our membership program to receive everything needed to enjoy their work — and then some! Your VIDA membership includes unique office features and amenities, including open space access, dedicated desk or private office, furniture, office supplies, fitness studio, conference rooms, beverage service and so much more.

How are you keeping the VIDA coworking space safe and clean?

Each of us on Team VIDA is committed to creating a safe and healthy work environment for our Members. And, we ask for your commitment to do the same. Post-covid, we have thoughtfully and meticulously implemented new rules and protocols designed to offer the best-possible outcomes in communication, security and cleanliness. We follow guidance from the Multnomah County Health Department and the CDC.

What are the hours of operation?

The VIDA coworking community is professionally staffed Monday – Friday from 9:00am – 5:00pm; however, full-time VIDA Members (excluding Virtual & PT Memberships) have 24/7 access via our door access system.

Can Members use both of the Portland and Beaverton locations?

Yes! VIDA members will have access to each coworking community, and can work in the Main Space or Conference Rooms in either location at no additional cost. 

Do you have Meeting Rooms?

Yes, both VIDA Coworking Portland and Beaverton offer fully equipped meeting rooms for rent. These spaces include high-speed internet, presentation screens, and conference-ready setups for client meetings, team workshops, or interviews. Meeting rooms can be reserved by members, or by non-members with an hourly booking. I would like a Private Office. Can I choose the one I want?

Yep! Though we are often on waitlist status for our Private Offices. But you can explore our available office options — and then book a tour to visit in person.

What is a Dedicated Desk Membership?

If you would like to keep your work life in a semi-private workstation, this is the option for you. All memberships include a Sit/Stand Desk, ergonomic office chair + storage if requested. Grab yours now!

What is an OPEN Flex Membership? 

Would you prefer to just bring your laptop and set up shop wherever the daily vibe takes you? Then this is the right coworking membership category for you. All these spaces are on a first-come, first-serve basis each day. We have many spaces and configurations for you to enjoy and work. Grab yours now!

What is a PT Flex Membership? 

Are you planning to come once or twice per week? Then this part-time membership is the right coworking membership category for you. You will have access to the VIDA Space during staffed hours of Monday – Friday, 9:00 am – 5:00pm, five-to-eight times per month (depending on if you choose PT Flex or PT Flex Plus). Do you have a Virtual Office Membership?

Yes. VIDA Coworking provides flexible membership options that include mail handling and business address services, similar to a virtual office coworking space. This is perfect for remote professionals who don’t need a daily desk but want the credibility of a professional Portland or Beaverton business address. Members can combine virtual office services with day passes or meeting room bookings for maximum flexibility. Grab yours now!

Can men be Members?

Yes! In concept and interior design, VIDA is specially crafted with women in mind, and with amenities that supports and enhances the lives of women and families. That said, ALL are welcome to join the VIDA Coworking Community.

Are the memberships a month-to-month commitment?

Our coworking community is an integral part of the VIDA experience, and we’re committed to cultivating that community. That said, we’re also committed to being flexible so we can better accommodate varying work needs. All memberships are billed month-to-month, with a full 30-day notice to cancel.

Can I host events?

VIDA Coworking does not rent its spaces for outside events. Our Portland and Beaverton locations are reserved for members and curated VIDA programming.

How am I billed?

Each Member has their own VIDA account through our community management site, Proximity. Monthly membership fees will be charged on the day you began your membership – and to the credit card or ACH account on file. Recurring plans will continue until canceled, and cancellations require a 30-day notice. All other incidental charges (postage, food, misc. charges) will post to the account and be charged at the time of service. Credit cards will be charged a 3% fee, while ACH payments are free.

Are kids welcome?

Yes! VIDA was specifically designed to support the needs of women and families, and kids are always welcome onsite. For younger kiddos, we suggest members keep their kids in a private office or booked conference room, and for older kiddos we have onsite activities and projects. We also offer programs and services to support families.

How does the Fitness Studio work?

We have an onsite Peloton Bike and Treadmill, and you can reserve the Fitness Studio through your Proximity account. Peloton offers a variety of classes, including yoga, stretching and meditation and we have free weights onsite too.

What other onsite amenities are included in my membership?

Let us count the ways in which VIDA creates a new and improved work life! In addition to getting comfortable in our beautiful space, Members have access to our Front Desk team for a variety of personal and professional requests, as well as access to our Fitness Studio for a Peloton ride or OnDemand exercise class, or walk/run on the Treadmill; or relax in our Unwind Studio, which features streaming services on the TV, a daybed/couch and quiet activities like puzzles, knitting and coloring.

Our Main Kitchens offer full beverage service, with local favorites including Marigold Coffee, which VIDA prepares and serves, as well as Jasmine Pearl Teas, Herbucha Kombucha and Stumptown Cold Brew on tap, and filtered water. At Portland, we also have a DeJung Espresso Drinks machine, which makes a variety of hot beverages.

In addition to the onsite amenities, we are committed to creating and nurturing a thriving community. We offer a dedicated Slack Channel, VIDA Mastermind Groups, ongoing personal and professional development classes, Member Perks and weekly and monthly Member Events.

Does VIDA Coworking have Conference Rooms?

Yes! We have conference rooms at each location. At Portland, our Visionary Conference Room seats up to eight people and our Vintage Boardroom seats up tp 14 people. At Beaverton, our large Conference Room seats up to 12 people. Conference Rooms must be reserved through a Proximity account. Members receive comped hours as part of their membership packages, and can access discounted hourly rates; non-members can reserve a conference room by setting up a free Community Member Account at portland.vidacoworking.com or beaverton.vidacoworking.com.

Does VIDA Coworking offer networking opportunities?

Yes, VIDA Coworking is known for its supportive professional community and frequent networking events. Members at both Portland and Beaverton locations enjoy happy hours, monthly community lunches, workshops, and collaborative meetups designed to connect entrepreneurs, freelancers, and small business owners.
