VIDA Members now have access to coworking spaces across the country!

As a woman-owned business, it’s always important to us that we partner with fellow women-led entities.

So, VIDA Coworking is proud to announce our partnership with a collective of women-owned coworking spaces that now welcome our Members free of charge. Even better, those workspaces span the US, perfect for work travel.

This exciting partnership furthers our commitment to providing a superior professional toolbox to working women across the country.

Our founder Melanie Marconi created the first family-friendly coworking space in Portland, Oregon – and she did so with women in mind. She designed VIDA for small business owners, remote workers and parents who sought a workspace focused on inclusivity, a better work-life balance and childcare options, all in a beautiful setting.

“There are so many amazing women-owned coworking spaces across the country,” says Melanie. “Team VIDA is honored to be a part of this network so that our Members can work in these beautiful workspaces, designed just for them.”

The Community Partner Spaces

VIDA Members can use our affiliated network of women-owned partner spaces across the country, enabling them to work from dedicated office spaces while traveling.
A few partner member spaces include:

  • Luminary, a coworking space in New York City created to support fellow women and help them advance their careers. In addition to coworking, Luminary also holds in-person and virtual events, workshops and programs for networking and development. The organization offers events focused on several topics, including professional development, skill advancement, small business or entrepreneurial growth, networking, community opportunities, self-care and personal development.
  • Blackbird Collective is a Los Angeles-based professional and wellbeing collective created for women of color and their allies. This collective offers coworking services, workshops, events and other activities to bring the Blackbird community together. The organization’s programs focus on business support, dialogue and public discourse and more.
  • Altar, a women-led communal space based in Chicago, IL, offers shared workspaces, private offices, a rentable event space for private and corporate gatherings, and a multitude of programs. The coworking space offers events ranging from dance parties to meditation classes to educational workshops.

The Power of Community

Being a Community Spaces Partner is a major benefit to VIDA Coworking Members.

The network has more than 30 community partner spaces across the US. Most of those partners are located in major cities, providing ease of access. Our Members can visit each one of these locations (including New York City!) whenever they want.

That means if you’re on vacation or a business trip outside of Oregon, you might find an affiliated workspace in the area.

Our partner spaces are also great options for entrepreneurs looking to schedule private meetings with clients in different states. You can use their conference rooms and amenities, just as you would VIDA’s.

Each of these partner workspaces is vetted to ensure they’re an inspiring environment that fosters professionalism and community. Most shared offices offer amenities similar to VIDA Coworking, so you can enjoy beverages, snacks and business essentials while you’re away.

Partnering with other national coworking spaces gives VIDA Members a powerful tool to hone their success. It’s just one of the many perks of being a Member of VIDA Coworking.
