VIDA Coworking loves giving our Members and guests options. That’s why we offer two warm, welcoming and productivity-enhancing spaces for meetings, presentations, training sessions and small conferences. 

Here we’re showcasing for you VIDA’s Visionary and Vintage conference rooms, each of which was specifically designed for Portland’s creators, innovators, collaborators and professionals. We’ll also cover what you can find in each room, pricing information and how to book the room rental. 

Vintage Boardroom

VIDA Coworking inherited the Vintage Boardroom from Jantzen Swimwear, the original building owner. We decided to preserve the meeting room’s original mid-century modern beauty for a truly one-of-a-kind ambiance. 

The room is surrounded by original wood-paneled walls, complete with a stunning accent wall featuring a hand-painted, multi-colored world map. An adjacent wall of windows infuses the room with natural light by day and city lights by night. 

The room is also equipped with tons of cool features, including: 

  • A sprawling, custom-made table that seats 15 
  • Hideaway chalkboard
  • Whiteboard 
  • TV/monitor 
  • Outdoor patio access 
  • High-speed internet
  • Projector
  • AV equipment, including an OWL Conferencing System and Zoom account 
  • Reception to welcome and direct guests to the space
  • Access to VIDA’s kitchen and refreshments, including coffee, tea, filtered water and healthy snacks
  • Access to VIDA’s printing, scanning, copying and notary services

Another particularly unique feature of this meeting room rental is the boardroom’s small waiting area for guests. Comfy furniture and additional hardwood fixtures adorn the waiting room to set the tone before guests enter the conference room.

Visionary Conference Room

The Visionary Conference Room is built for smaller collaborations of six people or less. This meeting room is equipped with an oval table and six chairs. Plus, an oversized whiteboard provides a blank canvas for collaboration and brainstorming. The meeting space also includes a large TV and a small sitting area for more intimate discussions. 

The Visionary meeting room is located in a private area between VIDA’s main coworking space and the West Wing. This means it’s conveniently located near the kitchen for beverage and snack breaks. Like the Vintage Boardroom, this space comes with access to coffee, tea, filtered water and an assortment of healthy snacks. Also similar to Vintage, the Visionary has tons of natural light that pours into the space, which features live plants, colorful decor and plush seating. 

The meeting space rental includes door locks for privacy, complimentary room setup and access to several presentation and communications tools, including: 

  • Projector 
  • TV/monitor
  • Phone system
  • Video conferencing  
  • Notary, copy, scan and print services

Every conference room renter can also take advantage of VIDA’s hosted reception to ensure all guests seamlessly find their way to the conference room.

Rental Pricing

Good news for VIDA Coworking Members: You can book our conference rooms for free, as it’s included in your membership fee! 

For non-Members, the Vintage Boardroom is $50 per hour, $180 for half a day or $350 per full day. The Visionary Conference Room is $35 per hour, $130 for half a day and $250 per full day.

Accessibility

VIDA conference rooms are not only conveniently located in downtown Portland, OR, but they’re also handicapped-accessible. 

Additionally, VIDA is the only coworking space in Portland that offers dedicated parking in its garage and free street parking. We also have bike storage and are located five minutes from public transportation.

How to Book VIDA Conference Room Rentals

VIDA’s conference rooms are available to both Members and non-Members, so really anyone has access to rent these amazing spaces. Simply book a timeslot through members.vidacoworking.com after creating a free Visiting Membership account via Proximity. After your account is made, you can easily request your desired dates. 

When you book one of our conference spaces, you and your guests receive coworking access for the rest of the day. This means you can access VIDA’s unrivaled amenities, including concierge services, an outdoor patio, a podcast studio, office supplies, printing services, storage, fitness and pilates studios, and much more. How convenient and productivity-enhancing is that?!

Key Factors When Considering Any Conference Room Rental in Portland 

To choose the right conference room rental for your meeting in Portland, Oregon, here are some helpful considerations:

  • Natural lighting. No one wants to sit in a dark room or under fluorescent lighting. Both VIDA conference rooms have an abundance of natural light!
  • Accessibility. Can everyone access the office and room? Does the building have ramps or elevators, such as VIDA does? 
  • Headcount. Are you holding a smaller collaboration session or a larger board meeting? VIDA has two options for either size. 
  • Convenience. VIDA Coworking is centrally located in the heart of downtown Portland, Oregon.
  • Refreshment availability. VIDA has beverage service as well as healthy snacks. This saves renters the hassle of bringing these items themselves.
