Welcome to the first Vlog post of the Make Life/Work Blog! Rather than write a synopsis of three books that I read this month, I thought that instead I would share it with you via video.
“As a single mom and a CEO of my own household and CEO of my own business, there’s a lot going on every minute of every day, but I do feel that it is important to take some time out for myself to recharge my own batteries and focus on things that are enjoyable to me, and one of those things is reading nonfiction books. Every day beforeI go to bed, I try to spend a thirty or sixty minutes reading books that are interesting to me.”
This month, I am reviewing and recommending these three books (note that these are not affiliate links, only a helpful way for you to find them):
- Pick Three: You Can Have it All (Just Not Everyday) by Randi Zuckerberg
- Belong: Find Your People, Create Community and Live a More Connected Life by Radha Agrawal
- Asking for a Friend: Three Centuries of Advice, Love, Money and Other Burning Questions from a Nation Obsessed by Jessica Weisberg
- And the bonus book: From the Corner of the Oval: A Memoir by Beck Dorey-Stein
I hope you enjoy them as much as I did!
