VIDA was created to meet a need that so many of us strive for: how do you design your life so that you can do it all: support yourself, your family and your career?
At its core, VIDA is a workspace and community designed to Make Life Work for our members in order to create ease, joy and fulfillment in their personal and professional lives.
Since becoming a single mom ten years ago, our Founder, Melanie Marconi, has been searching for innovative ways to get the most out of each day. VIDA stemmed from her desire to have all of life’s daily needs in one beautiful space, surrounded by other inspiring women entrepreneurs.
“I ran my own small business for many years. I worked with a team of five women, each of us managing intricate work, life and family schedules. Without a dedicated office, I got to the point where working from my living room and local coffee shops ran its course. So, I searched for a flexible, professional space of like-minded people, where my daughter was welcome and my life would be understood. I couldn’t find the right fit. That’s why I created VIDA. I believe Portland’s professionals deserve a beautiful, safe, flexible and productive coworking space that enhances their lives and truly helps Make Life/Work.”
