Since day one, we’ve had one mission at VIDA Coworking. We sought to Make/Life Work better for our Members, so we created vibrant workspaces where business owners, remote workers and freelancers can thrive.

And thrive we have! 

We’re overjoyed to celebrate two major milestones: VIDA Coworking’s original Portland location just celebrated its 5th anniversary on July 1st, and VIDA Beaverton is gearing up for its 1st anniversary on August 16th!

These anniversaries mark not just the passage of time but the incredible journey we’ve shared with our amazing Members. Over the past five years, VIDA has become a dazzling hub for innovation, connection and productivity in Portland. 

Here are just a few highlights that showcase our ever-expanding impact:

  • Growing Our Network: Over 300 Members have joined the VIDA community over the years.
  • Supporting Small Businesses: We’ve empowered 425 small business owners to pursue their dreams by providing flexible, inspiring workspaces.
  • Making Connections: We’ve hosted 43 networking events, fostering connections and collaborations between Members.
  • Boosting Productivity: Our conference rooms have been booked an impressive 1,045 times, facilitating countless brainstorming sessions and important meetings.
  • Amplifying Voices: Our podcast studio has hosted 8 episodes of The Make/Life Work Podcast and 35 others, providing a platform for diverse voices and ideas.
  • Supporting Families: While their parents work, we’ve educated, entertained and inspired nearly 70 children at VIDA School. 

These are just a few metrics that paint a picture of our thriving professional ecosystem. But what truly sets VIDA Coworking apart is the human connection and support our Members find here. For example, we were the only local coworking space to offer a certified childcare service (AKA VIDA School) during the pandemic, a lifeline for working parents. We’ve also had the honor of welcoming former Oregon Governor Kate Brown to our space, a testament to our commitment to fostering connection and inspiration.

As we celebrate these birthdays and the years behind us, we’re also excited for the future. We’re actively scouting a location for a third VIDA Coworking space, expanding our reach and welcoming even more Members to our community.
