Our Beaverton location has now been open for six months, and in this post, we are pleased to introduce you to Lia Dunlap, who is the founder of Oracle on Purpose and a Part-Time Private Office member (and a Founding Member at Beaverton!).

1. Tell us about your work:
As an Intuitive Guide for Business Leaders & Entrepreneurs, I help my clients get clear on their biggest visions and the most aligned path to reach their life and business goals with joy and abundance.As the founder of Oracle on Purpose, LLC, I am proud to provide proven tools and resources for understanding why you are here, what you are meant to deliver in the world, and how you can create greater abundance when you make a bigger impact in the world.We help you do this through DIY books and online courses, group mastermind programs, live mastermind and leadership retreats focused on developing your clarity of purpose, confidence in your self, your talents, gifts and abilities and strengthening your alignment with your spiritual source.

Additionally, we offer exclusive access to one-on-one private coaching for a select number of high-level leaders, founders and purpose-driven business owners who are looking for integrative support to maximize the impact of their work, cultivate greater joy in their lives, and increase their overall wealth.

2. What led you to this career?
It was always my desire to help people learn how they could create the life they always dreamed of and do it on purpose without giving up their soul.

In 1994, I created The POWER Plan, a simple six-step program for goal creation and fulfillment based on the Law of Attraction. For years I shared the program in small groups, in churches, and women’s spiritual retreats while simultaneously working in corporate sales, marketing and operations roles. In 2008, I stepped away from the corporate world, and went on to combine both my Intuitive Gifts and Practical Business Experience as the Oracle on Purpose to help other women find and follow their purpose.

3. What are your passions– personal or professional?
My biggest passion is helping people find out why they are here – what their unique life purpose is, because I know that when they do they will be able to create the life they’ve always dreamed of and the world will be better for it.

4. How does community play an important role in your life?
My ability to engage with and in a vibrant community of positive minded people is key to my work. Not only because it allows me to maintain a high vibration for myself, it also gives me the opportunity to bring my own positive energy to the world through encouraging, supporting and sharing other amazing people and their gifts. VIDA has done a great job of creating space for that through their monthly activities. It makes it easier to step away from the desk and connect with humanity.

5. At VIDA, we are committed to help Make Life/Work… how do you find this for yourself?
Even after 30 years in business, it can still be tricky for me to find work/life balance. Though, I find that because I truly love my work (it is my purpose) I lean toward work more often than is healthiest. When I notice this happening, I remind myself to “play as hard as I work” and go off to do something enjoyable with my friends and family. This ranges from mid-day dates with my hubby, to live plays or sport events with the whole family and it’s pretty regular for us to take off early and check out great restaurants for a delicious meal and glass of wine.
